Cascina 6B is a holiday home immersed in nature, created through the restoration of an ancient Piedmontese farmhouse and located in the heart of San Maurizio Canavese. Designed for those seeking relaxation, authenticity, and beauty, it offers an experience that goes beyond a simple stay. Every space welcomes you, invites you to slow down, and offers moments of true well-being, just minutes from Turin and Caselle Airport.
SINCE THE BEGINNING OF THE XVIII CENTURY
Welcome to Cascina 6B,
a holiday home designed with care and intention.
Once, Cascina 6B was a lively working farmhouse, home to those who cultivated the land and cared for the fields and the park of the count’s villa. Today, that same spirit of respect, quiet, and balance remains, transformed into an experience of mindful hospitality.
Cascina 6B is a design holiday home, created to offer comfort, calm, and harmony without ostentation. Every space has been carefully considered; nothing is left to chance.
My name is Alissia, architect and owner of the property together with my family. I personally oversaw every phase of the project, paying attention not only to aesthetics but above all to how the spaces are lived in. From the layout of the rooms to the choice of materials, from the color palette to the study of natural light, down to the smallest details—every decision stems from the desire to create welcoming places that convey balance and well-being.
My goal is to bring to life spaces that make people feel good, even before they appear beautiful.

Colors, materials, and light: well-being as an experience
The interior colors are soft and desaturated, chosen according to the principles of color psychology to accompany guests without overwhelming them.
The materials tell a story of the land, simplicity, and durability, echoing the original identity of the farmhouse.
Natural light enters gently, following the rhythm of the day and shaping the spaces in an organic way.
The apartments at Cascina 6B are all different, just like the people who live in them. Each one bears a feminine name inspired by flowers and colors—
a tribute to the feminine that welcomes, nurtures, and transforms, and a reminder of the site’s natural and historical roots.

Who Cascina 6B is meant for

OUR HISTORY
Since 1700
Cascina 6B is located within a historic 18th-century Piedmontese farmhouse, strategically situated near Turin and Caselle Airport.
Originally owned by the Marenco family, the property has preserved its 18th-century architectural layout over time, bearing witness to the region’s rural traditions.
In the past, the farmhouse housed the Marenco family’s sharecroppers, who were responsible for cultivating the land and maintaining the park of the nearby Villa Viarana, a historic manor adjacent to the complex.
Over the years, the farmhouse underwent several changes in use, transitioning from an agricultural settlement to an open-air restaurant. For a long time, it hosted the Crota Estiva, becoming a local social hub.
In 2008, the property was acquired by its current owners, who embarked on a major conservation-based renovation.
The project transformed the farmhouse into a private residence and, today, a holiday home, respecting the building’s history, its original materials, and the authentic identity of the place.
